NCAM (CD56)-Positive Malignant Lymphoma
Leukemia & Lymphoma, 1993CD56 has been found to identify an isoform of the neural cell adhesion (NCAM). NCAM is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of cell adhesion molecules; it is related to a variety of leukocyte antigens and to several cell adhesion molecules believed relevant to malignant behavior in a variety of neoplasms.

CD56 (NCAM)-Positive Malignant Lymphoma
Leukemia & Lymphoma, 1994CD56, a natural killer cell marker reactive with the neuronal-cell adhesion molecule (NCAM), identifies a group of lymphomas with distinctive clinicopathologic features. The disease affects mostly middle-aged adults who often present with fever, skin rash and hepatosplenomegaly in the absence of peripheral lymphadenopathy.

CD56-Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Acta Haematologica, 2005We report a patient with lung cancer who developed CD56-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He was referred to our hospital for thrombocytopenia. Atypical cells were found in the blood and the bone marrow. These cells were immunophenotypically positive for CD3ε, CD56, and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase, and negative for surface CD3, CD4, CD19,

Hydroa‐like lymphoma with CD56 expression
Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, 2008Hydroa‐like lymphoma is an extremely rare and aggressive lymphoma described in children from Latin American countries (Mexico, Guatemala and Peru) and Asia (Japan, Korea and Taiwan). Clinically, patients present with vesicles, ulcers and scars occurring on both sun‐exposed and non‐sun‐exposed areas.

CD4+ and CD56+ acute monoblastic leukemia
American Journal of Hematology, 1990AbstractWe report here a patient with acute monoblastic leukemia whose leukemia cells had CD4 (T4) and CD56 (NKH‐1) antigens, in addition to CD36 (OKM5) antigen. The leukemia cells did not have NK or ADCC activities. They showed no rearrangements of immunoglobulin heavy (IgH) chain and T cell receptor (TCR)‐beta chain genes, indicating that the ...

Reduction in CD16/CD56 and CD16/CD3/CD56 Natural Killer Cells in Coronary Artery Disease
Immunological Investigations, 2017Natural killer (NK) cells are the potential modulators of inflammatory reactions that exert several unique biological effects and could lead to future adverse events of coronary artery disease (CAD).The purpose of this study was to find out the possible association of modulation in NK cell, TNK cells, T cells, B cells, and tumor necrosis factor alpha ...
