Hydrogels demonstrate material properties that mimic the mechanical and chemical environments of biological tissues. Yet, they face challenges during their integration into 3D interfaces. By identifying a class of thermoplastic hydrogels, a strategy is developed to pattern hydrogels in thermally drawn fibers.

CD68 Immunostaining in the Evaluation of Chronic Histiocytic Intervillositis
Context.—Chronic histiocytic intervillositis is an uncommon and poorly recognized lesion associated with poor perinatal outcomes, including intrauterine growth retardation and stillbirth. It has a high recurrence rate. Objective.—To evaluate utility of CD68 immunostaining in the evaluation of chronic histiocytic intervillositis.

The role of CD68+ macrophage in classical Hodgkin lymphoma patients from Egypt
Background CD68+ tumor-associated macrophages (TAM) play an important role in the progression of classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL). We assessed the role of CD20 and CD68 + TAM in a cohort of cHL patients from Egypt and correlated the number of CD68 ...

The study reports a DNA/RNA heteroduplex hydrogel (SeroPTEN‐CG) that undergoes DNase‐mediated hydrogel‐to‐nanogel transition for spinal cord injury therapy by targeting the serotonergic system, combining 5‐hydroxytryptamine (5‐HT)‐mediated excitability restoration to reactivate dormant interneurons with phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN)‐targeted ...

Clinicopathological correlation of tumor-associated macrophages in Ewing sarcoma
Aims: Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are known markers playing complex roles in tumorigenesis. However, the function of TAMs in a variety of malignancies is not yet fully understood. The aim of this pilot study was to quantify the density of TAMs in

This study demonstrates that HDAC1/2 knockout in microglia alleviates neurological deficits, preserves white matter, and accelerates hematoma clearance after ICH. HDAC1/2 inhibition reduces HK2 acetylation, shifts metabolism from glycolysis to fatty acid oxidation, reduces inflammation, and enhances phagocytosis.
