T Cell Signalling Through CD73
Cellular Signalling, 1997CD73 (ecto-5'-nucleotidase), a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchored purine salvage enzyme expressed on the surface of human T and B lymphocytes, catalyzes the conversion of purine and pyrimidine ribo- and deoxyribonucleoside monophosphates to the corresponding nucleosides.

Anti‐CD73 therapy impairs tumor angiogenesis
International Journal of Cancer, 2013CD73 is an ecto‐nucleotidase overexpressed in various types of tumors that catabolizes the generation of extracellular adenosine, a potent immunosuppressor. We and others have shown that targeted blockade of CD73 can rescue anti‐tumor T cells from the immunosuppressive effects of extracellular adenosine.

CD73 Inhibitors as Antitumor Agents
20235′-Ectonucleotidase (e5NT), a metalloenzyme incorporating two zinc ions in its structure, also known as CD73, hydrolyzes AMP to phosphate and adenosine. It is involved in several physiological and pathological processes, among which immune homeostasis, inflammation, tumor progression. The last decade saw the development of small molecule and monoclonal

Ecto-5′-nucleotidase (CD73) promotes tumor angiogenesis
Clinical & Experimental Metastasis, 2013Angiogenesis is essential for tumor growth, progression and metastasis. Studies indicate that expression and activity of ecto-5'-nucleotidase (CD73) are elevated in metastatic carcinomas. Our previous studies found that angiogenesis of tumor xenografts was decreased when the activity of CD73 in cancer cells was inhibited, implying that this enzyme is ...

Evaluation of CD73 in lung cancer.
Journal of Clinical Oncology, 2017e14525 Background: Immunotherapy has shown promising results in multiple forms of cancer including lung cancer patients. Treatment targeting alternative immune checkpoints may demonstrate value for specific cancers or in combination therapy with other immunotherapies or chemotherapeutic agents.

Bispecific antibodies targeting human CD73
2017The present invention relates to a bispecific antibody targeting CD73. In particular, the present invention relates to a bispecific antibody targeting different epitopes on CD73 or a bispecific antibody targeting an epitope on CD73 and an epitope on a different antigen.
