Invasion and Inhibition in Cell Embryonic Migration
The embryonic neural crest offers a unique model system in which to study cell migration mechanisms in vivo during development and disease. The neural crest is a highly invasive, multipotent cell population that displays a regulated spatio‐temporal migratory pattern in the vertebrate embryo.

Bardoxolone-methyl inhibits migration and metabolism in MCF7 cells [PDF]
Bardoxolone-methyl (BAR) is reported to have anti-inflammatory, anti-proliferative and anti-fibrotic effects. BAR activates Nrf2 and may ameliorate oxidative stress through induction of antioxidant genes. However, off-target effects, probably concentration and NFkB-dependent, have limited the clinical use of BAR.

Metastatic niche shaped by host factors influences disseminated cancer cell fate
Metastasis is shaped not only by cancer cells but also by the environments they encounter. This review explores how factors such as aging, diet, the microbiome, lifestyle, and environmental exposures remodel organ‐specific niches in the lung, liver, bone, and brain, influencing where metastatic cells survive, remain dormant, or grow, and ultimately ...

Cell migration domains in the chick telencephalon [PDF]
Little is known about the process by which the vertebrate forebrain (the diencephalon and telencephalon) becomes regionalized during development.

The nucleus has long been postulated to play a critical physical role during cell polarization and migration, but that role has not been defined or rigorously tested.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Influence of cell force-driven piezoionic hydrogels on the migration of cancer cells
Cancer metastasis presents a formidable clinical challenge, demanding innovative therapeutic approaches. Compared to normal cells, the enhanced migratory capacity of malignant cancer cells plays a pivotal role in the metastatic process.

Grape Skin Polyphenols (GSPs) Inhibit the Migration of Mouse Mammary Carcinoma 4T1 Cells in Vitro
OBJECTIVE 1) To study the efficacy of GSPs on the migration of highly metastatic mammary carcinoma cells and 2) To investigate inhibition mechanisms. METHODS Cell migration was assessed using a 24-well transwell assay.

Ovarian cancers migrate and metastasize over the surface of the peritoneal cavity. Consequently, dysregulation of mechanisms that limit cell migration may be particularly important in the pathogenesis of the disease. ARHI is an imprinted tumor-suppressor

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
