Computing dynamics of copper-based SMA via center manifold reduction of 3D models
In this work, we present a reduction procedure for 3D models describing phase transformations in copper-based shape memory alloys (SMAs) and develop a robust numerical algorithm for the computational analysis of thin single-crystal slabs of these alloys.

The semistable-center-unstable manifold near a critical element
In applications of the Internal Model Principle of control theory to nonlinear differential systems, a semistable-center-unstable invariant manifold plays an important role.

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

On the Significance of Center Manifold Reduction: Data-Driven Dynamics at a Hopf Bifurcation [PDF]
The Hartman-Grobman theorem has significance in extending a local linearization to global dynamics given the existence of a hyperbolic equilibrium point.

Reduction and normal forms for a delayed reaction–diffusion differential system with B–T singularity
In this paper, we expanded our computation to obtain a simpler and detailed reduction and normal form of a delayed reaction–diffusion differential system with Bogdanov–Takens (B–T) singularity.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

An algorithm for symbolic computation of center manifolds [PDF]
A useful technique for the study of local bifurcations is the center manifold theory because a dimensional reduction is achieved. The computation of Taylor series approximations of center manifolds gives rise to several difficulties regarding the operational complexity and the computational effort.
