EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Analysis of oligomerization of refolded CoxD protein by sucrose density gradient centrifugation.
CoxD in refolding buffer was subjected to sucrose density gradient centrifugation, and fractions were analyzed as indicated. Coomassie Brilliant Blue was employed for protein estimation. CO dehydrogenase (□) was included as a reference for molecular mass

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. CENTRIFUGATION OF OVINE SPERM IN CONTINUOUS DENSITY GRADIENT: EFFECT ON PREGNANCY RATE AND SEX RATIO
The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of continuous density gradients of Percoll and OptiPrep for separation of X-bearing sperm, and assess the influence on sperm viability, pregnancy rate and sex ratio. With this purpose 100 million

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Circular DNA's from HeLa cell nuclei and mitochondria
An electron microscopic observation was made on the DNA's extracted from purified HeLa cell nuclei, mitochondria, and the whole cell, and fractionated by ethidium bromide-cesium chloride density gradient method or sucrose density gradient method. Nuclear

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
