Implicit finite element implementation of Chaboche’s plasticity kinematic hardening model
This paper aims to present a comprehensive guideline for the implementation of Chaboche's plasticity kinematic hardening model in the context of finite element analysis. A detailed strategy for the resolution of the elastoplastic problem (return mapping) as well as for the computation of the consistent tangent operator are presented.

Thermoviscoplastic model with application to copper [PDF]
A viscoplastic model is developed which is applicable to anisothermal, cyclic, and multiaxial loading conditions. Three internal state variables are used in the model; one to account for kinematic effects, and the other two to account for isotropic ...

Modelling of material cutting with a material microstructure-level (MML) model [PDF]
In this research work a material microstructure-level cutting model (MML cutting model) is presented. The crystal plasticity theory is adopted for modeling the cutting of the titanium alloy Ti–6Al–4V in orthogonal case.

A viscoplasticity model with an enhanced control of the yield surface distortion
A new model of metal viscoplasticity, which takes combined isotropic, kinematic, and distortional hardening into account, is presented. The basic modeling assumptions are illustrated using a new two-dimensional rheological analogy.

Visco-plastic chaboche model for nickel-based alloys under anisothermal cyclic loading
The mechanical behavior of visco-plastic materials such as nickel-based alloys is highly dependent on temperature. Some characteristics such as viscosity, hardening, static recovery, dynamic recovery have more or less influence on the overall behavior depending on the considered temperature.
