Chaboche Kinematic Hardening Model for Cyclic Ratcheting Simulation: Continuous and Discontinuous Hardening Materials

open access: yesVolume 1: Codes & Standards
Abstract ASME Code Case N-900 and JSME Code Case NC-CC-008 present fatigue evaluation methods based on elastic-plastic analysis. While the ASME Code Case does not specify any cyclic hardening model for finite element analysis, the JSME Code Case recommends a bi-linear kinematic hardening model.

Structure of a viscoplastic theory [PDF]

open access: yes
The general structure of a viscoplastic theory is developed from physical and thermodynamical considerations. The flow equation is of classical form.

Kalibrace Chabocheova modelu s paměťovou plochou [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This paper points out a sufficient description of the stress-strain behaviour of the Chaboche nonlinear kinematic hardening model only for materials with the Masing's behaviour, regardless of the number of backstress parts.

Progressive deformation behaviour of thin cylindrical shell under cyclic temperature variation using Combined Hardening Chaboche Model

open access: yesLatin American Journal of Solids and Structures
This study intends to evaluate thermal ratchetting deformation due to cyclic thermal loading along the axis of a smooth cylindrical shell. Two cases of progressive deformation behaviour are discussed for different loading methods.

Thermomechanical Analysis of PBF-LB/M AlSi7Mg0.6 with Respect to Rate-Dependent Material Behaviour and Damage Effects

open access: yesApplied Mechanics
This paper describes the self-heating effects resulting from mechanical deformation in the additively manufactured aluminium alloy AlSi7Mg0.6. The material’s self-heating effect results from irreversible changes in the material’s microstructure that are ...

Damage dependent stress limit model for failure prediction in bulk forming processes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Stress limit, combined with deformation and orientation dependent damages, is proposed as the criterion for failure prediction in bulk forming processes. Dedicatedly designed experiments are carried out to investigate this model.
