Perfil sensorial ideal para el cabanossi con carne de llama (Lama glama) de tres sistemas de alimentación usando el método CATA (Check-all-that-apply)

open access: yesScientia Agropecuaria, 2021
El desarrollo de alimentos involucra el uso de herramientas sensoriales rápidas y que permitan explorar la percepción del consumidor. Se determinó el perfil sensorial ideal de cabanossi con carne de llamas alimentadas con tres tipos de piensos (pastura ...

Human‐derived cardiac‐neural microtissues reveal catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia is also a disease of the sympathetic neuron

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend Schematic diagram illustrating the proposed pathway in which regulatory defects might occur in sympathetic neurons derived from hiPSC in catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT). Specifically, enhanced calcium transients appeared to derive from three sources: enhanced membrane excitability (due to loss of ...

Review Article: Accelerating Coeliac Disease Clinical Trials—Beyond Celiac Meeting With Industry, Academics, Patients and the FDA

open access: yesAlimentary Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 64, Issue 7, Page 890-896, October 2026.
A 2024 multi‐stakeholder meeting examined how to accelerate coeliac disease drug trials, highlighting key considerations in endpoint selection, symptom–histology alignment and feasibility. Progress requires patient‐centred trials showing symptomatic and intestinal improvement, appropriate gluten challenge, and early regulatory engagement, including ...

Processing Forced-choice versus Check-all-that-apply Question Formats

open access: yes, 2017
Previous research has shown that check-all-that-apply (CATA) and forced-choice (FC) question formats do not produce comparable results. The cognitive processes underlying respondents’ answers to both types of formats still require clarification.

Hydrated Deep Eutectic Solvents for the Sustainable Valorization of Textile Waste

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 17, 14 September 2026.
Hydrated metal‐based deep eutectic solvents (DESs) composed of zinc or calcium chlorides, organic acids, and water were developed as low‐viscosity, room‐temperature‐stable media for the sustainable valorization of cotton waste. These formulations effectively disrupted the cellulose fiber structure and processed microcrystalline cellulose, medical‐grade

Characterisation of Haemolytic Uropathogenic Escherichia coli Isolated From Dogs and Cats

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 5, September 2026.
The present study characterises 51 canine and feline haemolytic E. coli isolates from urinary tract infections by a polyphasic approach, including susceptibility testing, CH‐clonotyping, and DNA microarrays. The majority of isolates belonged to phylogenetic group B2 and were classified as extraintestinal pathogenic E.
