Nanomaterials for Allergy Diagnosis and Treatment: Advances, Opportunities and Translational Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanomaterials offer dual applications in allergy management. For diagnosis, nanomaterials enhance analytical sensitivity and improve detection in specific IgE and functional assays such as the basophil activation test (BAT). For allergen‐specific immunotherapy, nanomaterials enable allergen masking and controlled release, and effectively modulate the ...

14‐3‐3γ Protects Against Postoperative Cognitive Dysfunction by Regulating Tau Thr205 Phosphorylation and Synaptic Integrity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrative multi‐cohort analyses identify 14‐3‐3γ as a biomarker and regulator of cognitive vulnerability. Experimental studies show that 14‐3‐3γ loss is associated with Tau Thr205 phosphorylation, synaptic dysfunction, and cognitive impairment, while genetic overexpression or pharmacological stabilization of 14‐3‐3γ confers protective effects in ...

Bone Marrow Macrophage STING Signaling is a Direct Nexus Linking Marrow Adipose Expansion to NAD+ Depletion and Osteogenic Decline in Skeletal Aging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that during skeletal aging, bone marrow adipocyte‐derived sDPP4 primes STING signaling in macrophages. In combination with mitochondrial DNA, this signaling activates CD38 and depletes local NAD+/NMN, thereby impairing osteogenesis.

A Chemiluminescent Magnetic Enzyme Immunoassay Method for 2 Triazole Pesticide Detection in Wheat

open access: yesFoods
We developed an alkaline phosphatase (AP) chemiluminescence immunoassay method by combining the superparamagnetic magnetic beads and the biotin–streptavidin signal amplification system to detect the triazolone and tebuconazole in wheat.

Determination of estradiol and progesterone concentrations in human scalp hair

open access: yesClinical and Experimental Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2020
Background: The major limitation of blood hormone measurements is the rapid daily concentration fluctuations. However, hair hormone measurement may provide an information on chronic body hormone exposure.

Engineered Allosteric Biosensor for In Situ DNA Glycosylase Detection in Neuroblastoma Risk Stratification and Drug Resistance Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An engineered allosteric biosensor (UUU‐DZ‐tFNA) was developed, in which UDG specifically recognizes and activates a DNAzyme to achieve signal cycle amplification in a sequentially activatable mode. UUU‐DZ‐tFNA achieves in situ UDG detection across multiple biological levels and facilitates risk stratification and drug resistance monitoring of NB ...
