Oral Bioinspired Peroxisome‐Engineered Probiotics for Modulating Gut Microbiota Homeostasis and Alleviating Cardiac Chemotherapy Toxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study developed an oral bioinspired peroxisome‐engineered probiotic (BPEP) by anchoring lipid‐encapsulated ruthenium nanozymes onto Escherichia coli Nissle 1917, utilizing probiotics to deliver nanozymes to the intestinal barrier for reactive oxygen species/reactive nitrogen species elimination, tight junction restoration, and gut microbiota ...

A Soft, Flexible Implant for Wireless Photothermal–Pyroelectric Neurostimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A replication strategy is used to enlarge the exposed surface area of barium titanate within flexible films with embedded carbon nanotubes, enabling efficient photothermal‐pyroelectric stimulation. Polar crystalline nanosheets show superior performance in guiding neural progenitor cells toward neuronal differentiation.

X-ray microtomography of mango tissue breakdown development due to chilling injury

open access: yes, 2016
The study aims to provide an insight in the 3-D microstructural changes caused by chilling injury in mango. This was accomplished through the use of X-ray microtomography (μCT) of tissue of mango (cv.

Circular RNA circNrip1 Interacts with SYNCRIP to Promote Neuropathic Pain by Stabilizing Tlr2 mRNA in Primary Sensory Neurons

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Model of circNrip1 (cNrip1) upregulation driving neuropathic pain mechanisms. After peripheral nerve injury, increased FUS triggers the formation and upregulation of cNrip1 in injured DRG neurons. Upregulated cNrip1 recruits SYNCRIP to the 3′‐UTR of Tlr2 mRNA by binding to both, thereby promoting SYNCRIP‐triggered Tlr2 mRNA stability and increasing ...

G3BP1 Succinylation at K413 is Critical for Cardiac Function by Modulating PI3K‐AKT‐mTOR Signal Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic illustrating the impact of G3BP1 succinylation at K413 on cardiac function. In the healthy human heart, G3BP1 succinylation maintains homeostatic mTOR signaling. In patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and heart failure (HF), G3BP1 de‐succinylation induces RagA expression and disrupts the binding of the TSC1/2 complex, leading to the ...

Studies on the Chilling Injury in Wheat Plants : II. On the artificial induction of the sterile injury caused by the chilling.

open access: yesJapanese Journal of Crop Science, 1965
Some experiments on the artificial induction of injury, same to the one found at the region of Shigarami, were conducted by the author using a refrigerator. The results of the experiments were as follows: 1) The same type of the injury caused by the chilling at the region of Shigarami could be induced by treating wheat variety Norin No.

m6A‐Mediated Glycolysis by IL‐37 Drives T Cell Metabolic Reprogramming to Regulate Colitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies an IL‐37/SIGIRR‐METTL14 regulatory axis that suppresses global m6A modification in CD4+ T cells. IL‐37 signaling, mediated through SIGIRR, inhibits IRAK4 and JNK phosphorylation, leading to downregulation of the methyltransferase METTL14.

ALLEVIATION OF CHILLING INJURY, AND ITS MECHANISMS TO MARSH AND REDBLUSH GRAPEFRUIT (CITRUS PARADISI MACF.).

open access: yes, 1982
The sensitivity of Arizona-grown grapefruit to chilling temperatures varied throughout the harvest period studied. This sensitivity was high in October, decreased in November and December, then increased in February.

Disruption of Treg Homeostasis in Rheumatoid Arthritis via Ferroptosis‐Mediated ETC Collapse and TXK‐STAT3/PLCγ1 Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In rheumatoid arthritis, synovial Tregs accumulate but are functionally impaired due to iron overload‐induced ferroptosis. This triggers mitochondrial dysfunction and TXK tyrosine kinase‐mediated signaling, leading to Treg destabilization and inflammation.
