Protein-Based High-Performance Liquid Chromatography and Cyclodextrin-Capillary Electrokinetic Chromatography for the Chiral Separation of Azoles. [PDF]

open access: yesElectrophoresis
Human serum albumin‐based high‐performance liquid chromatography and cyclodextrin‐based capillary electrokinetic chromatography were used for the chiral separation of azoles. Although only two of the five tested azoles could be enantioseparated by liquid chromatography, all of them were separated by capillary electrokinetic chromatography using single ...

Design, Synthesis, and Applications of Chiral Stationary Phases

open access: yes, 1982
Chemists who are engaged in the synthesis of optically active compounds frequently encounter the problems of assaying enantiomeric purity, assigning absolute configuration, and preparatively obtaining optical isomers in high enantiomeric purity.

Improvement of chiral stationary phases based on cinchona alkaloids bonded to crown ethers by chiral modification

open access: yes, 2015
To improve the chiral recognition capability of a cinchona alkaloid crown ether chiral stationary phase, the crown ether moiety was modified by the chiral group of (1S, 2S)-2-aminocyclohexyl phenylcarbamate.

Dynamic Generation of Spatially Variable Vector Beams Using Cascaded Moiré Metasurfaces

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 17, 11 September 2026.
A three‐layer cascaded moiré metasurface dynamically generates vector beams with tunable polarization order and controllable lateral focal positions. Relative rotation of the first two layers adjusts the conjugate OAM components that form the vector beam, whereas the third layer steers its focus across the transverse plane, preserving the dominant OAM ...

Misaligning Cascaded Liquid Crystal Elements for Continuously Tunable Axial Spin‐Dependent Splitting

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 17, 11 September 2026.
Continuously tunable axial spin splitting is achieved by controlling the lateral misalignment of cascaded Pancharatnam‐Berry phase liquid crystal elements. The displacement generates a spin‐dependent quadratic phase, enabling linear, sign‐reversible focal adjustment and dynamic focus interchange for orthogonal circular polarizations.
