The effect of various concentrations salicylic acid on mitigation of sodium chloride stress in growth parameters and photosynthetic pigments of sunflower plant (Helianthus annuus L.) [PDF]
S Soil salinity is a serious environmental problem that has negative effect on plants’ growth and production. On the other hand, salicylic acid plays an essential role in preventing oxidative damage in plants by detoxifying superoxide radicals produced ...

Is Precision Agriculture Technology Adoption Persistently Overestimated?
ABSTRACT Precision agriculture is sometimes assumed to diffuse steadily over time, and industry planning frequently extrapolates early adoption trends forward. This study evaluates the accuracy of such expectations by comparing agricultural input dealers' forecasts of future service offerings with the actual levels of offerings that dealerships ...

ABSTRACT Mayonnaise, a widely consumed oil‐in‐water emulsion, is highly susceptible to lipid oxidation due to its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) and the presence of pro‐oxidant factors such as low pH and iron from egg yolk. Over the past three decades, extensive research has focused on understanding oxidation mechanisms, analytical

Seasonal Fluctuations of Plastochromanol‐8 and α‐Tocopherol Amounts in the Leaves of Cecropia Trees
ABSTRACT Plastochromanol‐8 (PC‐8) is a homologue of γ‐tocotrienol with a longer side chain (eight instead of three isoprene units) and therefore also a representative of the tocochromanol (vitamin E) group. PC‐8 has been determined in various plants and seeds, with Cecropia sp. leaves showing unusually high levels.

Abstract Improving fertilizer use efficiency is essential for reducing environmental pollution, sustaining agricultural production, and maximizing the economic profitability of crop production systems. This study tested the hypothesis that the formulation strategy of biochar‐based fertilizers, rather than nutrient addition alone, is associated with ...
