At 10 and 15 ºC sprouting was suppressed even in the absence of CIPC.

Hemotoxicity of Chlorpropham (CIPC) in F344 rats
Toxicology, 1997Chlorpropham[Isopropyl-N-(3-chlorophenyl)carbamate; CIPC] is a widely used sprout suppressant. Groups of ten male and ten female F344 rats were given 0, 7500, 15,000 or 30,000 ppm of CIPC in the diet for 13 weeks. Body weight gain of male and female rats in the 30,000 ppm-group was depressed.

Changes in chlorpropham residues in stored potatoes
