Chronic Kidney Disease Risk Associated With Metabolic Dysfunction‐Associated Steatotic Liver Disease: A Nationwide Cohort Study in Korea

Our study findings revealed that people with metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) have a significantly higher risk of developing chronic kidney disease (CKD), particularly if they have multiple metabolic risk factors such as obesity, diabetes, or high blood pressure.
