Regulated Cell Death in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis
This graphical abstract illustrates regulated cell death (RCD) across key pulmonary cell types—including alveolar epithelial cells, fibroblasts, macrophages, and endothelial cells—modulated through a dynamic death modulation network within the IPF microenvironment.

The role of lipid metabolism in neuronal senescence
Disrupted lipid metabolism, through alterations in lipid species or lipid droplet accumulation, can drive neuronal senescence. However, lipid dyshomeostasis can also occur alongside neuronal senescence, further amplifying tissue damage. Delineating how lipid‐induced senescence emerges in neurons and glial cells, and how it contributes to ageing and ...

Intercompartmental communication in senescence
Senescent cells experience structural changes in the plasma membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, lysosomes, nucleus, and cytoskeleton. These alterations disrupt crosstalk among cellular compartments, impairing vesicular trafficking, contact sites, and molecular flow.

Liver stiffness promotes intrahepatic cholesterol accumulation by repressing LXRα through YAP/TAZ activation. Stiff matrices impair cholesterol efflux in hepatocytes, while YAP/TAZ deletion restores LXRα activity and prevents cholesterol‐induced fibrosis.

Apolipoprotein A‐I (ApoA‐I), the principal protein of HDL, plays a key role in reverse cholesterol transport, inflammation modulation, and plaque stabilization in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Emerging ApoA‐I–based therapies, including CSL112, enhance cholesterol efflux capacity, though definitive reductions in cardiovascular events remain ...
