Cholesteryl ester transfer to low density lipoproteins (LDL) was achieved either by incubation of a cholesteryl ester-rich lipid microemulsion with whole plasma or by incubation of the cholesteryl ester-rich microemulsion with lipoprotein-free plasma and LDL.

Cross‐Modal Denoising and Integration of Spatial Multi‐Omics Data with CANDIES
In this paper, we introduce CANDIES, which leverages a conditional diffusion model and contrastive learning to effectively denoise and integrate spatial multi‐omics data. We conduct extensive evaluations on diverse synthetic and real datasets, CANDIES shows superior performance on various downstream tasks, including denoising, spatial domain ...

We have previously shown that very low density lipoproteins (VLDL, Sf 60–400) from subjects with type IV hyperlipoproteinemia (HTG-VLDL) will induce appreciable cholesteryl ester accumulation in cultured macrophages (J774A.1).

MiR‐940 Suppresses Ferroptosis by Controlling Expression of Key Regulatory Genes
A CRISPR‐based screening identified miR‐940 as a critical suppressor of ferroptosis in cancer. By coordinating the downregulation of pro‐ferroptotic genes with the upregulation of GPX4, miR‐940 establishes a regulatory network that protects against ferroptosis and correlates with poor clinical outcomes in distinct cancer entities.

The biomimetic self‐assembly nanomedicine reversing atherosclerosis via senotherapy strategy. ABSTRACT The greatest challenge in atherosclerosis (AS) management lies in achieving lesion reversal, not merely slowing progression. Senescent cell accumulation—driven by continuous generation and apoptotic resistance—perpetuates plaque pathology and ...

Diagnostic Value of Systemic Cholesteryl Ester/Free Cholesterol Ratio in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) most commonly occurs in the setting of liver cirrhosis which is characterized by low serum lipids. We hypothesized that composition of lipoproteins and consequently lipid species ratios are mostly unchanged in ...

Deep Learning‐Assisted Coherent Raman Scattering Microscopy
The analytical capabilities of coherent Raman scattering microscopy are augmented through deep learning integration. This synergistic paradigm improves fundamental performance via denoising, deconvolution, and hyperspectral unmixing. Concurrently, it enhances downstream image analysis including subcellular localization, virtual staining, and clinical ...
