ABSTRACT The global trend toward sustainable and intensified bioprocesses is driving innovation in the design and scalable synthesis of liposomal nanocarriers, a cornerstone of modern drug delivery. For decades, these nanosystems have relied exclusively on polyethylene glycol (PEG) for their sustained circulation in vivo, but they are currently ...

Expanding the chondroitin glycoproteome of Caenorhabditis elegans [PDF]
Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans (CSPGs) are important structural components of connective tissues in essentially all metazoan organisms. In vertebrates, CSPGs are involved also in more specialized processes such as neurogenesis and growth factor ...

Technology and Properties of Chondroitin Sulfate from Marine Hydrobionts [PDF]
Chondroitin sulfate was isolated from the cartilage tissue of salmon (Salmo salar), northern skate (Raja hyperborean) and black-shark (Galeus melastomus). The polysaccharide content is from 67.1% to 82.2% in the samples.

Efficacy, safety and cost‐effectiveness of CAR‐T therapy
CAR T‐cells demonstrate high efficacy in blood cancers, including ALL, MM and DLBCL. Innovations target solid tumours despite challenges such as antigen escape. Combination therapies enhance the delivery and infiltration of CAR T cells. Toxicity, cost and resistance remain major barriers to clinical use.

Chondroitin sulfates modulate axon guidance in embryonic Xenopus brain [PDF]
Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans display both inhibitory and stimulatory effects on cell adhesion and neurite outgrowth in vitro. The functional activity of these proteoglycans appears to be context specific and dependent on the presence of different ...
