Analytical ChemistryCirculating tumor cells (CTCs) are an emerging but vital biomarker for cancer management. An efficient methodology for accurately quantifying CTCs remains challenging due to their rareness. Here, we develop a digital CTC detection strategy using partitioning instead of enrichment to quantify CTCs.
