Our findings provide practical guidance for agroforestry management by demonstrating that intercropping with selected species can mitigate damage from leaf‐cutter ants in cacao agroforests. At the landscape scale, high tree cover was associated with low herbivory rates, emphasising the need to maintain or restore forested habitats.

Unreduced megagametophyte production in lemon occurs via three meiotic mechanisms, predominantly second-division restitution [PDF]
Unreduced (2n) gametes have played a pivotal role in polyploid plant evolution and are useful for sexual polyploid breeding in various species, particularly for developing new seedless citrus varieties.

New cybrids resulting from asexual pathway: a promise of the cybridization for creating new citrus rootstocks and cultivars [PDF]
Cybridization should be a way to induce phenotypical variations in highly heterozygous secondary citrus species or genotypes, without breaking their very complex multilocus structure by sexual recombination.

Chemical characterizations of the aromatic compositions of two citrus species: Citrus Aurantium and Citrus Reticulata [PDF]
Extracts of essential oils have various properties in different applications This work focuses on the chemical characterization of the aromatic compositions of two citrus species Citrus Aurantium CA and Citrus Reticulata CR which belongs to the Rutaceae family The essential oils were extracted by hydro distillation of the aerial parts stems ...

Fruit respiration: putting alternative pathways into perspective
Summary Over the past century, research has significantly advanced our understanding of fruit respiration, from (eco)physiological processes to molecular mechanisms. This review focuses on the functional relevance and regulatory roles of mitochondrial alternative respiratory pathways (ARPs) during fruit growth and ripening.
