Composite higher derivative theory of gravity
We investigate a higher derivative theory that belongs to the class of composite field theories. Starting from the Yang-Mills theory based on the Lorentz group, we express the gauge vector fields in terms of the tetrad decomposition of a space-time ...

Local class field theory [PDF]
The author gives condition for a Henselian field \(F\) which imply that local class field theory is valid for \(F\) in the sense that for every finite Galois extension \(F_0\) of \(F\) the reciprocity map \(\text{Gal}(F_0/F) \to F^{\times}/N_{F_0/F}(F_0^{\times})\) induces an isomorphism of the projection to \(\text{Gal}(F_0/F)^{ab}\).

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...

Statistical field theory and effective action method for scalar active matter
We employ statistical field theory techniques for coarse graining the steady-state properties of active Ornstein-Uhlenbeck particles. The computation is carried out in the framework of the unified colored noise approximation that allows an effective ...

Abelian localp-class field theory
In the first section an abstract \(p\)-class field theory is developed. Assume that the ground field \(K\) possesses a distinguished Galois extension \(\widetilde {K}/K\) with the Galois group being an abelian pro- \(p\)-group. Then for a finite separable extension \(F/K\) Galois \(p\)- extensions \(L/F\) linearly disjoint with \(\widetilde {F}/F\), \(\

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

A spectral theorem for a non-Archimedean valued field whose residue field is formally real
In this paper, we will prove a spectral theorem for self-adjoint compactoid operators. Also, we will study the condition on which the coefficient field must be imposed.

A new strategy to microscopic modeling of topological entanglement in polymers based on field theory
In this work a new strategy is proposed in order to build analytic and microscopic models of fluctuating polymer rings subjected to topological constraints.

The noncoding region of the genome plays a key role in regulating gene expression, and mutations within these regions are capable of altering it. Researchers have identified multiple functional noncoding mutations associated with increased cancer risk in the genome of breast cancer patients.
