Identification of a differentially expressed thymidine kinase gene related to tapping panel dryness syndrome in the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis Muell. Arg.) by random amplified polymorphic DNA screening

open access: yesInternational Journal of Plant Biology, 2010
Tapping panel dryness (TPD) syndrome is one of the latex yield affecting factors in the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis Mull. Arg.). Therefore, identification of a DNA marker will be highly useful for screening progenies in breeding programs.

Isolation, cloning and molecular characterization of genes encoding single-strand specific endonucleases from Parsley (Petroselinum crispum L.) [PDF]

open access: yesمجله بیوتکنولوژی کشاورزی, 2015
Single-strand specific (sss) nucleases (S1/P1 family) are widely used in molecular genetics studies. The most widely used sss-nucleases are those plant endonucleases with the ability of specific cleavage of mismatch loops in heteroduplex DNA molecules ...

The Development and Prospect of Code Clone [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
The application of code clone technology accelerates code search, improves code reuse efficiency, and assists in software quality assessment and code vulnerability detection. However, the application of code clones also introduces software quality issues and increases the cost of software maintenance.

FoxO1 signaling in B cell malignancies and its therapeutic targeting

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FoxO1 has context‐specific tumor suppressor or oncogenic character in myeloid and B cell malignancies. This includes tumor‐promoting properties such as stemness maintenance and DNA damage tolerance in acute leukemias, or regulation of cell proliferation and survival, or migration in mature B cell malignancies.

Insights into PI3K/AKT signaling in B cell development and chronic lymphocytic leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Review explores how the phosphoinositide 3‐kinase and protein kinase B pathway shapes B cell development and drives chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a common blood cancer. It examines how signaling levels affect disease progression, addresses treatment challenges, and introduces novel experimental strategies to improve therapies and patient outcomes.

Characterization of fungal carbonyl sulfide hydrolase belonging to clade D β‐carbonic anhydrase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Here, we performed a functional analysis of the fungal enzymes belonging to clade D of the β‐class carbonic anhydrase family (β‐D‐CA). The β‐D‐CAs in the basidiomycete Gloeophyllum trabeum and the ascomycete Trichoderma harzianum showed very low activity in the hydration of CO2 but exhibited high activity in the hydrolysis of carbonyl sulfide (COS ...

Cloning and expression analysis of SPL8 homolog from pak choi (Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis)

open access: yesBiotechnology & Biotechnological Equipment, 2017
SQUAMOSA PROMOTER-BINDING PROTEIN-LIKE (SPL) transcription factor genes are functionally diverse; they control a number of fundamental aspects of plant growth and development, including vegetative phase change, flowering time, branching and leaf ...

Elucidation of interface interactions between a dehydratase domain and an acyl carrier protein in cremimycin polyketide synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In modular polyketide synthases, the dehydratase (DH) domain catalyzes the dehydration reaction of the β‐hydroxyacyl unit attached to the cognate acyl carrier protein (ACP) domain. However, it is unclear how DH interacts with ACP during the reaction. In this study, we identified DH–ACP interface residues, providing the first detailed insights into DH ...
