Highly multiplexed digital PCR assay for simultaneous quantification of variant allele frequencies and copy number alterations of KRAS and GNAS in pancreatic cancer precursors

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining melting curve analysis enhances the multiplexing capability of digital PCR. Here, we developed a 14‐plex assay to simultaneously measure single nucleotide mutations and amplifications of KRAS and GNAS, which are common driver genes in pancreatic cancer precursors. This assay accurately quantified variant allele frequencies in clinical samples

Geometric properties of harmonic functions associated with the symmetric conjecture points and exponential function

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2020
In this paper, some classes of univalent harmonic functions are introduced by subordination, where the analytic parts of which are exponential starlike (or convex) functions with respect to the symmetric conjecture points.

Coefficient estimates for three generalized classes of meromorphic and bi-univalent functions

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper, we introduce and investigate three interesting subclass $\Sigma_\vartheta^*(\lambda,\alpha)$, $\Sigma_\vartheta^B(\beta,\alpha)$ and $\tilde{\Sigma}_\vartheta^*(\alpha,\beta)$ of meromorphic and bi-univalent functions on $\Delta=\{z\in ...

Exploration of heterogeneity and recurrence signatures in hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study leveraged public datasets and integrative bioinformatic analysis to dissect malignant cell heterogeneity between relapsed and primary HCC, focusing on intercellular communication, differentiation status, metabolic activity, and transcriptomic profiles.

A reaction coefficient identification problem for fractional diffusion

open access: yes, 2018
We analyze a reaction coefficient identification problem for the spectral fractional powers of a symmetric, coercive, linear, elliptic, second-order operator in a bounded domain $\Omega$.

Coefficient Estimates for Two New Subclasses of Biunivalent Functions with respect to Symmetric Points

open access: yes, 2015
We introduce two subclasses of biunivalent functions and find estimates on the coefficients and for functions in these new subclasses. Also, consequences of the results are pointed out.

Aberrant expression of nuclear prothymosin α contributes to epithelial‐mesenchymal transition in lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nuclear prothymosin α inhibits epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in lung cancer by increasing Smad7 acetylation and competing with Smad2 for binding to SNAI1, TWIST1, and ZEB1 promoters. In early‐stage cancer, ProT suppresses TGF‐β‐induced EMT, while its loss in the nucleus in late‐stage cancer leads to enhanced EMT and poor prognosis.

Square function and maximal function estimates for operators beyond divergence form equations

open access: yes, 2012
We prove square function estimates in $L_2$ for general operators of the form $B_1D_1+D_2B_2$, where $D_i$ are partially elliptic constant coefficient homogeneous first order self-adjoint differential operators with orthogonal ranges, and $B_i$ are ...

Determination of ADP/ATP translocase isoform ratios in malignancy and cellular senescence

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The individual functions of three isoforms exchanging ADP and ATP (ADP/ATP translocases; ANTs) on the mitochondrial membrane remain unclear. We developed a method for quantitatively differentiating highly similar human ANT1, ANT2, and ANT3 using parallel reaction monitoring. This method allowed us to assess changes in translocase levels during cellular

Classes of analytic functions involving the q-Ruschweyh operator and q-Bernardi operator

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
In this paper, we introduced and studied two new classes of analytic functions using the concepts of subordination and q-calculus. We established inclusion relations for these q-classes and integral-preserving properties associated with the q-integral ...
