Numerical study of delamination process of the CFRP composite
A quasi-static approach for an interface damage model, incorporating Rayleigh damping for viscoelastic carbon fiber reinforced polymer composites, is introduced. The interface traction-relative displacement behavior is modeled using a thin adhesive layer,

Research on IGBT Bonding Wires Crack Propagation at the Macro and Micro Scales
Under the action of a complex and harsh working environment, the damage of the IGBT power module’s packaging interconnection structure is the primary failure mode.

A Regularized Interface Model for Simulating the Response of Adhesive Joints
A regularized interface damage model is presented grounded on the cohesive-zone concept. This is obtained using a gradient-based formulation, which is equivalent to the introduction of the laplacian of a scalar damage field into the threshold function of

Finite Element Analysis for Brittle and Ductile Fracture Using a Unified Cohesive Zone Model
A unified cohesive zone model is proposed. By introducing a parameter which denotes the ductility of the material, the proposed model can be used to simulate both brittle and ductile fracture.

In the current paper, the effects of interface fiber angles on the characteristics of R-curve and the cohesive law shape of end-notch-flexure specimens are investigated using numerical and empirical methods. To this aim, laminated composites manufactured

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Coupled crystal plasticity-cohesive zone modeling of rock salt viscoplasticity [PDF]
Rock salt, owing to its viscoplastic behavior and structural integrity under high pressure, is a promising candidate for safe and large-scale underground energy storage.

A Cohesive Zone Model for Three-dimensional Fatigue Debonding/Delamination [PDF]
The cohesive zone model (CZM) has found a wide acceptance as a tool for the simulation of delamination in composites and debonding in bonded joints. Recently, fatigue-devoted implementations of CZM have been proposed.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
