Isocyanate‐Modified Melatplatin(IV) Enhances Antitumor Efficacy via TCF4/COL6A3‐Mediated Extracellular Matrix Remodeling and cGAS‐STING Pathway Activation in Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A series of melatonin‐conjugated platinum(IV) prodrugs was functionalized with isocyanate chains (compounds 5‒12). MP‐12C (compound 11) was identified as the lead candidate, with optimal potency and safety. MP‐12C exhibited greater efficacy than cisplatin by increasing intracellular uptake, reshaping the extracellular matrix, activating the cGAS‐STING ...

A Hepatocyte‐to‐Stellate Cell Axis Couples Alternate‐Day Fasting to Liver Fibrosis Resolution via ATG7 S‐Nitrosylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Alternate‐day fasting suppresses mitochondrial complex II assembly via SDHAF4 to upregulate hepatocyte eNOS. The resulting nitric oxide S‐nitrosylates ATG7 at C184 in hepatic stellate cells, restraining autophagic flux and preventing their profibrotic activation.

Closing the Loop: High‐Precision 3D Photofabrication in Living Tissues

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Writing 3D microstructures inside living tissue demands more than laser access; It demands information. Hierarchical sensing captures thermal and mechanical states across pulse‐train, voxel, and structure timescales, feeding a controller that steers the laser in real time.

High‐Density Type I Collagen Promotes IFN‐γ+ CD8+ T Cell Exhaustion via SAT1‐ASS1‐Mediated Glutamine Accumulation and Ferroptosis in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐density type I collagen promotes glutamine (Gln) accumulation–related ferroptosis of TNBC cells via the spermidine/spermine N1‐acetyltransferase 1 (SAT1)‐ argininosuccinate synthase (ASS1) signaling pathway, thus depriving immune cells of Gln supply and inducing IFN‐γ+ CD8+ T cell exhaustion in the TME.

Type VII collagen in the intraocular environment

open access: yes, 2019
This thesis describes the characteristics of type VII collagen (Col VII) in the intraocular environment, by means of immunohistochemical, -fluorescence and - immunoelectron microscopy analysis. Col VII is an anchoring protein that secures the epidermal basement membrane to the underlying stroma, by forming looped anchoring fibrils.

Salvianolic Acid a Disrupts the HSP90α‐AKT‐PERK Ternary Complex to Alleviate Atherosclerosis by Activating Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress of Senescent Vascular Smooth Muscle Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Salvianolic acid A (SAA) selectively induces senescent vascular smooth muscle cell apoptosis, alleviating atherosclerosis. Mechanistically, SAA targets heat shock protein 90 alpha (HSP90α) to disrupt the protein inase B (AKT)‐PRKR‐Like Endoplasmic Reticulum Kinase (PERK) scaffold, driving ubiquitin‐proteasome‐dependent AKT degradation.

Versatile Microgel Platform for Intervertebral Disc Degeneration Therapy: Targeting Pericyte‐Mediated Fibrosis and Protecting Nucleus Pulposus Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The engineered MMS@TRP microgel enables targeted, acid‐responsive delivery of a miR‐21 inhibitor to pericytes. It effectively suppresses disc fibrosis by inhibiting TGF‐β signaling while protecting nucleus pulposus cells via sustained, antioxidant tannic acid release.

The epidermolysis bullosa acquisita antigen (type VII collagen) is present in human colon and patients with crohn\u27s disease have autoantibodies to type VII collagen

open access: yes, 2002
peer-reviewedEpidermolysis bullosa acquisita is an autoimmune blistering disease of the skin characterized by IgG autoantibodies against type VII collagen.
