Preoperative Total Iron‐Binding Capacity Is a Potential Surrogate Marker of Long‐Term Outcomes After Pancreatectomy for Pancreatic Cancer

Preoperative low serum total iron‐binding capacity (TIBC) was associated with poorer overall survival and recurrence‐free survival after pancreatectomy for pancreatic cancer. These findings suggest that preoperative serum TIBC may serve as a simple surrogate marker for long‐term outcomes in patients undergoing pancreatectomy.

Developing a strain‐dependent susceptibility to hepatocellular carcinoma in a murine model based on histopathological evidence and genetic context

Activation of Metal Complexes With Ultrasound Waves for Targeted Anticancer Therapy

Ultrasound enables non‐invasive activation of metal‐based therapeutics deep within tumors. Acoustic cavitation can drive sonodynamic reactive oxygen species generation or mechanochemical metal–ligand bond dissociation, enabling controlled release of bioactive payloads.
