Research on the Performance of the Autoclaved Fly Ash Common Brick

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
Based on the experimental study foundation of setting altogether 10 bearing axially loaded long column of the autoclaved fly ash solid bricks. We had a comparative analysis on the fly-ash common brick with existing norms. At last, we get that ultimate bearing experimental value of autoclaved fly ash-lime brick masonry is higher than Theoretical ...

High temperature elemental losses and mineralogical changes in common biomass ashes

Fuel, 2006
The elemental losses from ashes of common biomass fuels (rice straw, wheat straw, and wood) were determined as a function of temperature from 525 8C to below 1525 8C, within the respective melting intervals. The experimental procedure was chosen to approach equilibrium conditions in an oxidizing atmosphere for the specific ash and temperature ...

Common Ash Stand Affected by Ash Dieback in the Wolica Nature Reserve in Poland

2017
The ash stand in Wolica reserve (Poland), affected with ash dieback, was studied. Isolations performed from collected ash tissues and rhizosphere soil samples revealed 28 isolates of Hymenoscyphus fraxineus and 27 isolates of Phytophthora spp., respectively.

16. Gale common ash disposal scheme - planning, environment, operation and restoration

1991
The scheme is for the disposal of waste materials from two power stations and a colliery, by forming circumferential embankments of these materials and filling the central voids with slurried ash. In view of its prominence, great attention has been paid to the profile and restoration of the ‘hill’ so formed. The life of the project is some 50 years and
