Die compaction of powders is a process which involves filling a die with powder, compression of the powder using rigid punches to form a dense compact, and ejection from the die. The choice of powder composition and selection of process parameters determine the microstructure and final properties of the compacts.

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Maximum mass of a cold compact star
We calculate the maximum mass of the class of compact stars described by Vaidya-Tikekar \cite{VT01} model. The model permits a simple method of systematically fixing bounds on the maximum possible mass of cold compact stars with a given value of radius ...

This study investigates laser shock peening for enhancing fatigue performance of riveted aerospace aluminum joints. A comparative approach with cold expansion combines fatigue testing and synchrotron X‐ray methods. Integrating mechanical testing with residual stress and strain characterization provides insights into how different treatments affect the ...

CJM: A Compact Model for Double-Gate Junction FETs
The double-gate (DG) junction field-effect transistor (JFET) is a classical electron device, with a simple structure that presents many advantages in terms of device fabrication but also its principle of operation. The device has been largely used in low-

Reflecting Lindel\"of and converging omega_1-sequences
We deal with a conjectured dichotomy for compact Hausdorff spaces: each such space contains a non-trivial converging omega-sequence or a non-trivial converging omega_1-sequence. We establish that this dichotomy holds in a variety of models; these include

This article demonstrates the successful qualification of a copper–tungsten composite for laser powder bed fusion. The resulting components exhibited high density, high thermal conductivity, and reduced thermal expansion. Heat sinks with complex geometries were successfully manufactured, clearly showcasing the material's potential for additive ...

Current-Voltage Modeling of Transistors Based on Two-Dimensional Molybdenum Disulfide
This paper presents a compact model for the current-voltage (I–V) characteristics of field-effect transistors (FETs) based on two-dimensional molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) channels. The proposed model is fully analytical, explicit, and physics-based,

Duplex Stainless Steel Laser‐Surface Textured: Stability in Brine Solution
Controlled laser‐surface treatment (LST) of duplex DSS2205 steel is performed to increase its stability in brine solution under cyclic electrochemical assays. The superior protection with respect to flat and smooth panels is attributed to the presence of FeCr2O4 as the main protective oxide layer in the LST surface, after corrosion tests. The stability
