This review article discusses the definition and functions of polyreactive antibodies, as well as their physiological roles. It also presents the concept of polyreactivity as a challenger of immunological dogmas. ABSTRACT Polyreactivity refers to the ability of antibodies to bind multiple unrelated antigens, encompassing polyspecificity and promiscuity.
