Background Dysregulated complement system is linked to pathophysiology of major depressive disorder (MDD). Childhood trauma has been associated with an increased incidence of adult depression via a putative mechanism of immune activation.

Complemented subspaces of products of Banach spaces [PDF]
We show that complemented subspaces of uncountable products of Banach spaces are products of complemented subspaces of countable subproducts.

On the complemented subspaces of X_p [PDF]
In this paper we prove some results related to the problem of isomorphically classifying the complemented subspaces of $X_{p}$. We characterize the complemented subspaces of $X_{p}$ which are isomorphic to $X_{p}$ by showing that such a space must contain a canonical complemented subspace isomorphic to $X_{p}.$ We also give some characterizations of ...

An Anti-C1s Monoclonal, TNT003, Inhibits Complement Activation Induced by Antibodies Against HLA. [PDF]
Antibody-mediated rejection (AMR) of solid organ transplants (SOT) is characterized by damage triggered by donor-specific antibodies (DSA) binding donor Class I and II HLA (HLA-I and HLA-II) expressed on endothelial cells.

Complement Component C1q as Serum Biomarker to Detect Active Tuberculosis [PDF]
Background: Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major threat to global health. Currently, diagnosis of active TB is hampered by the lack of specific biomarkers that discriminate active TB disease from other (lung) diseases or latent TB infection (LTBI). Integrated human gene expression results have shown that genes encoding complement components, in particular

Research progress of neurovascular units involved in ischemic stroke
The brain receives less blood when an ischemic stroke develops, which damages neurons and leads to an increased release of Pro‐inflammatory mediators that activate neurovascular unit (NVU). When the tight junctions are broken and the basement membrane is disrupted by matrix metalloproteinases produced by active endothelial and pericellular cells ...

The GG rs292001 genotype prevails in seronegative for ANA and anti-dsDNA antibodies patients with lupus nephritis [PDF]
Rs292001 is single nucleotide polymorphism in non-coding regions of C1QA gene. C1q is subcomponent of the C1 first component of the classical pathway of complement activation. Rs292001 was investigated for association with some conventional immunological

Our study provides a comprehensive multi‐omics profile of aging, integrating proteomic, metabolomic, and metagenomic analyses across diverse tissues and plasma. We identified the synergistic amplification of the circulating complement system and tissue‐wide immunoglobulin accumulation as key molecular drivers of inflammaging.

Classifying complements for conformal algebras [PDF]
Let $R\subseteq E$ be two Lie conformal algebras and $Q$ be a given complement of $R$ in $E$. Classifying complements problem asks for describing and classifying all complements of $R$ in $E$ up to an isomorphism. It is known that $E$ is isomorphic to a bicrossed product of $R$ and $Q$.
