Complement levels of C4, C3C, factor B, and C1 inactivator in peripheral and retroplacental blood of parturient women with EPH gestosis.

Annals of the Medical University, Bialystok, Poland = Roczniki Akademii Medycznej w Bialymstoku, 1994
The complement levels were determined in 54 parturient women with EPH gestosis, in 32 normal parturient women and in 24 normal non pregnant women. Complement components: C4, C3c, factor B /Bf/ and C1 inactivator /C1 INA/ were measured by radial immunodiffusion. Peripheral and retroplacental blood were examined.

[An indirect hemagglutination study of total IgE and complement fractions C3c and C4 in patients with hepatic hydatidosis and undergoing therapy].

Minerva medica, 1989
The trend of antibodies tested with indirect hemagglutination, of total IgE and complement fraction was examined in patients with liver hydatid disease, treated with surgery and benzoimidazoles.

Acute complement activation during an anaphylactoid reaction to blood transfusion and the disappearance rate of C3c and C3d from the circulation.

Journal of clinical & laboratory immunology, 1984
A patient experienced an anaphylactoid shock after receiving a transfusion with 5-10 ml of leucocyte-depleted blood. Complement measurements revealed pronounced elevation of split products of the third complement factor (C3c and C3d), normal but fluctuating levels of native C3, significantly decreased levels of C4, normal factor B concentrations and ...
