Complement receptor 2–mediated targeting of complement inhibitors to sites of complement activation [PDF]
In a strategy to specifically target complement inhibitors to sites of complement activation and disease, recombinant fusion proteins consisting of a complement inhibitor linked to a C3 binding region of complement receptor (CR) 2 were prepared and characterized.

Large multidimensional digital images of cancer tissue are becoming prolific, but many challenges exist to automatically extract relevant information from them using computational tools. We describe publicly available resources that have been developed jointly by expert and non‐expert computational biologists working together during a virtual hackathon

Rheumatoid Factor, Complement, and Mixed Cryoglobulinemia
Low serum level of complement component 4 (C4) that occurs in mixed cryoglobulinemia (MC) may be due to in vivo or ex vivo activation of complement by the classical pathway.

Analysis of ESR1 mutations in plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) is highly important for the selection of treatment in patients with breast cancer. Using multiplex‐ddPCR and identical blood draws, we investigated whether circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and cfDNA provide similar or complementary information for ESR1 mutations.

Unstable Angina is a syndrome correlated to mixed Th17 and Th1 immune disorder [PDF]
Unstable angina is common clinical manifestation of atherosclerosis. However, the detailed pathogenesis of unstable angina is still not known. Here, I propose that unstable angina is a mixed TH17 and TH1 immune disorder. By using microarray analysis, I find out that TH1 and TH17 related cytokine, cytokine receptor, chemokines, complement, immune ...

LEUCOATTRACTANTS ENHANCE COMPLEMENT RECEPTORS ON HUMAN PHAGOCYTIC-CELLS [PDF]
The N-formyl-methionyl peptides, F-Met-Leu-Phe, F-Met-Met-Phe and F-Met-Phe, when tested at differing concentrations, proportionally increased both in vitro cell locomotion and the expression of surface receptors for C3b on human peripheral blood ...
