Planning for Complete Sensor Coverage in Inspection
Computer Vision and Image Understanding, 1995Abstract General purpose CAD-based inspection of manufactured objects often involves comparing a model created using intensity or range images of the actual object to a tolerance reference model of the ideal object. Before this comparison is made, a sufficiently complete geometric model of the workpiece must be synthesized from sensor data.

Complete Multi-Objective Coverage with PaCcET
Proceedings of the Companion Publication of the 2015 Annual Conference on Genetic and Evolutionary Computation, 2015The Pareto Concavity Elimination Transformation (PaCcET) is a promising new development in multi-objective optimization. It transforms the objective space so that a computationally-cheap linear combination of objectives can attain (even concave) Pareto-optimal points.

Complete Multi-Robot Coverage of Unknown Environments with Minimum Repeated Coverage
Proceedings of the 2005 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2006In this paper, an algorithm for the complete multi-robot coverage of a connected space with unknown obstacles is presented. The proposed algorithm mainly operates by maintaining, as far as possible, small uncovered regions between covered areas and obstacles.

The complete-coverage restoration and the gingival sulcus
The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1973Abstract There is an interrelationship between complete coverage restorations and the gingiva. The terminal margin plays an important role in maintaining gingival health. Periodontal disease is minimal with restorations which do not invade the sulcus, but the caries attack rate, retention, or esthetic requirements may compel entry into the sulcus ...

On the Complete Coverage Path Planning for Mobile Robots
Journal of Intelligent & Robotic Systems, 2013This paper presents a generalized complete coverage path planning (CCPP) algorithm and its implementation for a mobile robot. The proposed planner contains two concerns: 1) low working time or low energy consumption, and 2) high human safety. For the first concern, we design the optimal path by incorporating two factors: time and energy costs ...

Cutting efficiency in complete coverage preparation
The Journal of the American Dental Association, 1969The object of cutting efficiency is to remove the maximum amount of tooth structure with the minimum amount of effort and time, and several factors are involved. Cutting efficiency may be improved with a technic that allows bulk removal of tooth structure to depths controlled by the instrument.

On achieving complete fault coverage for sequential machines
IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 1994A method for generating tests for gate-level stuck-at faults in sequential machines is given, which is applicable when a state-table description of the machine under test is either given or extractable from the given description. A test generation procedure for faults in the state table is first described. The test generation procedure is polynomial in

Completeness, coverage & equivalence in scientific data records
Proceedings of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, 2012AbstractPreviously we asked, “When is a record data and when is it a fish?” (Wickett et al., ). In this work, we ask, “when and in what contexts are a record and a fish equivalent?” We describe and compare a collection of potentially equivalent records describing a Mola mola, or Ocean Sunfish, specimen. We calculate the Metadata Coverage Index (MCI) of
