Green's graphs of a semigroup

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
Let SS be a semigroup. In this study, we first introduce the Green’s digraphs and Green’s graphs related to the Green’s relations L{\mathscr{L}}, R{\mathscr{R}}, and J{\mathscr{J}} of SS.

Grim on Complete Multipartite Graphs

open access: yesThe PUMP Journal of Undergraduate Research, 2018
Grim is a deletion game played on the vertices of a graph. In this paper we will examine strategies for when Grim is played on complete multipartite graphs.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

A Ramsey-Theory-Based Approach to the Dynamics of Systems of Material Points

open access: yesDynamics
We propose a Ramsey-theory-based approach for the analysis of the behavior of isolated mechanical systems containing interacting particles. The total momentum of the system in the frame of the center of masses is zero.

A Novel Approach for Neutrosophic Complete Graph and Neutrosophic Excellent Domination [PDF]

open access: yesNeutrosophic Sets and Systems
Social networks have a crucial role in forming contemporary society. The way they operate and reach allow them to have a large-scale impact on beliefs, behaviours, and trust.

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Metformin promotes mitochondrial integrity through AMPK‐signaling in Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Metformin mediates mitochondrial quality control in Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON) fibroblasts carrying mtDNA mutations. At therapeutic levels, metformin activates AMPK signaling to restore mitochondrial dynamics by promoting fusion and restraining fission, while preserving mitochondrial mass, enhancing autophagy/mitophagy and biogenesis ...
