On singular Calogero-Moser spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Using combinatorial properties of complex reflection groups, we show that the generalised Calogero-Moser space associated to the centre of the corresponding rational Cherednik algebra is singular for all values of its deformation parameter c if and only ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Complex surface singularities from the combinatorial point of view

open access: yes, 1995
We explore the interplay between graph theory and the topology of isolated singularities of complex surfaces. We study how certain geometric properties of surface singularities are reflected in the dual graphs of their resolutions.

A C 2,α,β estimate for complex Monge–Ampère type equations with conic sigularities

open access: yesAdvanced Nonlinear Studies
In this paper, we give an alternative approach to the C 2,α,β estimate for complex Monge-Ampère equations with cone singularities along simple normal crossing divisors.

Principal Functions of Nonselfadjoint Discrete Dirac Equations with Spectral Parameter in Boundary Conditions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
Let denote the operator generated in by , , , and the boundary condition , where , , , and , are complex sequences, , , and is an eigenparameter. In this paper we investigated the principal functions corresponding to the eigenvalues and the spectral ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

A Study of Movable Singularities in Non-Algebraic First-Order Autonomous Ordinary Differential Equations

open access: yesMathematics
We studied the movable singularities of solutions of autonomous non-algebraic first-order ordinary differential equations in the form of y′=I(y(t)) and y′=I1(y(t))+I2(y(t))+⋯+In(y(t)), aiming to prove that all movable singularities of all complex ...

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Tailoring the energy landscape of a bloch point domain wall with curvature

open access: yesNature Communications
Topological defects, or singularities, play a key role in the statics and dynamics of complex systems. In magnetism, Bloch point singularities represent point defects that mediate the nucleation of textures such as skyrmions and hopfions.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.
