Efficient information theoretic inference for conditional moment restrictions [PDF]
The generalized method of moments estimator may be substantially biased in finite samples, especially so when there are large numbers of unconditional moment conditions.

Reliability of Inference of Directed Climate Networks Using Conditional Mutual Information
Across geosciences, many investigated phenomena relate to specific complex systems consisting of intricately intertwined interacting subsystems. Such dynamical complex systems can be represented by a directed graph, where each link denotes an existence ...

We establish a tBid‐mediated cell ablation system in axolotls, achieve rapid and efficient ablation of multiple cell types, including muscle stem cell, spinal cord cell, and connective tissue (CT) cells. We investigate the role of CT using tBid‐mediated CT ablation and identify its essential role for limb development and regeneration.

Modelling Conditional Correlations for Risk Diversification in Crude Oil Markets [PDF]
This paper estimates univariate and multivariate conditional volatility and conditional correlation models of spot, forward and futures returns from three major benchmarks of international crude oil markets, namely Brent, WTI and Dubai, to aid in risk ...

The study elucidates that paternal preconception stress can drive offspring hyperresponsivity of the stress system via hypomethylation of a specific DNA region in sperm. This key link is confirmed in a cohort of prospective fathers: the epigenetic alteration is associated with elevated stress hormone levels.

Conditional inference for possibly unidentified structural equations
The possibility that a structural equation may not be identified casts doubt on the measures of estimator precision that are normally used. We argue that the observed identifiability test statistic is directly relevant to the precision with which the ...

Modelling Conditional Correlations in the Volatility of Asian Rubber Spot and Futures Returns [PDF]
Asia is presently the most important market for the production and consumption of natural rubber. World prices of rubber are not only subject to changes in demand, but also to speculation regarding future markets.

Boosting Sensory Nerve‐to‐Bone Interactions Enhances Hedgehog Mediated Calvarial Bone Repair
Boosting sensory nerve activity via TrkA agonism strongly accelerates calvarial bone repair in adult mice. Furthermore, single‐cell RNA sequencing and neuron–bone interactome analyses identify these sensory neurons as a direct neural source of Hedgehog pathway ligands. Consequently, these ligands drive osteoblast differentiation of skeletal progenitors,
