First Evidence of Fallen Fruit Feeding by Bats Revealed by Camera Traps in a Tropical Dry Forest

Ground foraging among volant frugivores is an underappreciated aspect of behavioral flexibility. Here we report the first evidence of fruit bats feeding on fallen fruit, captured by camera traps in a Costa Rican tropical dry forest. Rainforest Fragmentation Decreases the Robustness of Plant‐Frugivore Interaction Networks
