YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Analysis of Finite Elastoplastic Deformations. Kinematics and Constitutive Equations [PDF]

open access: yesУчёные записки Казанского университета: Серия Физико-математические науки, 2015
The main kinematic relations and constitutive equations, which are used for creating computational methods to investigate finite elastoplastic deformations are presented in the paper.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Introduction to Constitutive Equations

open access: yes, 2021
When the conservation equations for mass, chemical species, momentum and energy were derived in the previous chapter, it became soon evident that the number of unknown functions was far larger than that of the equations.

Nonlocal constitutive equations of elasto-visco-plasticity coupled with damage and temperature

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
In this paper, the nonlocal anisothermal elasto-visco-plastic constitutive equations strongly coupled with ductile isotropic damage, nonlinear isotropic hardening and kinematic hardening are developed to model the material behaviour under finite strain ...

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Finite deformation of particulate geomaterials: frictional and anisotropic Critical State elasto-plasticity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This thesis is concerned with the theoretical development and numerical implementation of efficient constitutive models for the analysis of particulate media (specifically clays) in structures undergoing geometrically non-linear behaviour.

Application of the Taylor Equation to Five-Power-Law Creep Considering the Influence of Solutes

open access: yesMetals, 2018
This study determines the feasibility of describing the flow stress within the five-power-law creep regime, using a linear superposition of a dislocation hardening term and a significant solute strengthening term.
