Constitutive equations of non-isothermal polymer melt
Constitutive equations of non-isothermal polymer melt are presented by the analysis of entropic free energy contribution of the macromolecular chains, which are treated as elastic dumbbell models.

Computational framework for the regularized 20-moment equations for non-equilibrium gas flows [PDF]
This paper presents a framework for solving the regularized 20-moment equations consisting of a set of transport-like governing equations, the required constitutive closure, re-casting of the equations in second-order partial derivative form and ...

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

On a micropolar theory of growing solids
The present paper is devoted to the problem of boundary conditions formulation in the growing micropolar solid mechanics. The static equations of the micropolar continuum in terms of relative tensors (pseudotensors) are derived due to virtual work ...

Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.

On a differential constraint in the continuum theory of growing solids
The present paper is devoted to the problem of boundary conditions formulation for asymmetric problems in the mechanics of growing solids (MGS). The boundary conditions on the propagating growing surface (PGS) is the fundamental problem of this branch ...

Heat-Flux Relaxation and the Possibility of Spatial Interactions in Higher-Grade Materials
We investigate the thermodynamic compatibility of weakly nonlocal materials with constitutive equations depending on the third spatial gradient of the deformation and the heat flux ruled by an independent balance law.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

filippo-masi/NICE: Neural integration for constitutive equations
<p>This library provides the implementation in PyTorch of the Neural Integration for Constitutive Equations (NICE) method. The algorithms in this repository are implemented using torch and torchdiffeq libraries, thus are fully supported to run on ...
