Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Five-dimensional N = 4 Supersymmetric Mechanics

open access: yesActa Polytechnica, 2011
We perform an su(2) Hamiltonian reduction in the bosonic sector of the su(2)-invariant action for two free (4, 4, 0) supermultiplets. As a result, we get the five dimensional N = 4 supersymmetric mechanics describing the motion of an isospin carrying ...

Artificial intelligence application for reflection development through the implementation of the orienting basis of reflective action for students of the pedagogical departments

open access: yesRussian Journal of Education and Psychology
This article considers the actual issue about reflection development because despite various reflection development practice existence there are no precise tools for reflective action formation.

“Neighborhood in Solidarity”: A community development methodology that emerged throughout an action research experience

open access: yes, 2018
Population aging and urbanization are often associated with a restriction of the living environment and an increasing tendency to remain at home. This community development report presents the ‘‘Neighborhood in Solidarity’’ methodology as a response to ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

New classes of modified teleparallel gravity models

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
New classes of modified teleparallel theories of gravity are introduced. The action of this theory is constructed to be a function of the irreducible parts of torsion f(Tax,Tten,Tvec), where Tax,Tten and Tvec are squares of the axial, tensor and vector ...

A construction of chiral fermion action [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1999
According to the necessary requirements for a chirally symmetric Dirac operator, we present a systematic construction of such operators. We formulate a criterion for the hermitian operator which enters the construction such that the doubled modes are decoupled even at finite lattice spacing.

Constructed wetland pilot units for wastewater treatment in the tannery industry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Constructed wetlands can be used for primary and secondary treatment of domestic wastewaters and for the treatment of a variety of other water sources including stormwaters, landfill leachate, industrial and agricultural wastewaters and acid mine ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Quantum Super-Integrable Systems as Exactly Solvable Models

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2007
We consider some examples of quantum super-integrable systems and the associated nonlinear extensions of Lie algebras. The intimate relationship between super-integrability and exact solvability is illustrated.
