Poster for "Why Include Recurrent Constructed Action (CA) in a Dictionary?"

open access: yes, 2022
This is the conference poster for the presentation "Why Include Recurrent Constructed Action (CA) in a Dictionary?" given at TISLR 2022 in Osaka, Japan. Based on the descriptions of recurrent gestures in the field of gesture studies and recent works on ...

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Optimization and action mechanism of pollutant removal performance of unsaturated vertical flow constructed wetland (UVFCW) driven by substained-release carbon source [PDF]

open access: yesPeerJ
Constructed wetland (CW) technology has attracted much attention due to its economical and environmentally friendly features. The low dissolved oxygen (DO) and low carbon/nitrogen (C/N) ratio in the wetland influent water affect the treatment performance

Untersuchung der Funktionen von Constructed Action und Constructed Dialogue in gebärdensprachlichen Gedichtverdolmetschungen

open access: yes, 2018

Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Supersymmetric action for multiple D0-brane system

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We have constructed a complete action for the system of N D0-branes in flat 10D type IIA superspace. It is invariant under the rigid spacetime supersymmetry and local worldline supersymmetry (κ-symmetry). This latter can be considered as supersymmetry of

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Becoming the object: constructed action and constructed dialogue in sign languages : gestural trope or obligatory device?

open access: yes, 2019
