Payoff Performance of Fictitious Play
We investigate how well continuous-time fictitious play in two-player games performs in terms of average payoff, particularly compared to Nash equilibrium payoff. We show that in many games, fictitious play outperforms Nash equilibrium on average or even

Corrigendum to "Games With Imperfectly Observable Actions in Continuous Time" [PDF]
Summary: \textit{Yu. Sannikov} [Econometrica 75, No.~5, 1285--1329 (2007; Zbl 1133.91003)] investigated properties of perfect public equilibria in continuous-time repeated games. This note points out that the proof of Lemma 6, required for the proof of the main theorem (Theorem 2), contains an error in computing a Hessian matrix.

Graphene nanoplatelet (0.1 wt.%) reinforcement significantly enhances the performance of β Ti‐28Nb‐35.4Zr alloy. Grain refinement, reduced water contact angle, and improved surface characteristics promote osteoblast adhesion and complete surface coverage after 7 days.

In Situ Micromechanical Study of Bimodal γ′–γ″ Precipitate Assemblies in Ni–Cr–Al–Nb Superalloy
A Ni–Cr–Al–Nb superalloy with a bimodal γ′–γ″ precipitate distribution is developed. Composite precipitate assemblies form through heterogeneous nucleation, effectively impeding dislocation motion. Micropillar compression reveals high strength at room and elevated temperatures, governed by precipitate shearing, with coupled faulting mechanisms ...

Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

An All‐Optical Driven Bio‐Photovoltaic Interface for Active Control of Live Cells
Bio‐photovoltaic Interface (BIO‐PV‐I) for live cell manipulation is presented. BIO‐PV‐I can be activated non‐invasively and remotely to control the spatial motility, adhesion, and morphology of cells adhering to it. BIO‐PV‐I uses a patterned light‐induced electric potential in iron‐doped lithium niobate crystals whose light‐driven and reversible nature,

Brown-von Neumann-Nash Dynamics: The Continuous Strategy Case [PDF]
In John Nash’s proofs for the existence of (Nash) equilibria based on Brouwer’s theorem, an iteration mapping is used. A continuous- time analogue of the same mapping has been studied even earlier by Brown and von Neumann.

Controlling 3D Contractility via Engineered Fibrous Hydrogel Composites
A tunable composite contractile assembly (CCA) is developed that can permit or resist contraction without changing cell‐adhesion and density, unlike collagen whose inherent coupling of these ECM cues limits its use as a platform in contractility studies.

ON THE COINCIDENCE OF THE FEEDBACK NASH AND STACKELBERG EQUILIBRIA IN ECONOMIC APPLICATIONS OF DIFFERENTIAL GAMES [PDF]
In this paper the scope of the applicability of the Stackelberg equilibrium concept in differential games is investigated. Firstly, it is showed that for a class of differential games with state-interdependence the stationary feedback Nash equilibrium ...
