Phase Detection and Modulation Improvement for Active Load Modulation during Continuous Transmission [PDF]
The paper covers one of the communication technologies used in wireless sensor networks. We have presented improvements in existing radio frequency identification (RFID) systems to address the problem of the phase selection in active load modulation (ALM)

Continuous Charge Modulated Diagonal Phase in Manganites [PDF]
We present a novel ground state that explain the continuous modulated charge diagonal order recently observed in manganese oxides, at hole densities $x$ larger than one half. In this diagonal phase the charge is modulated with a predominant Fourier component inversely proportional to $1-x$.

Low Complexity Noncoherent Iterative Detector for Continuous Phase Modulation Systems [PDF]
This paper focuses on the noncoherent iterative detection of continuous phase modulation. A class of simplified receivers based on Principal-Component-Analysis (PCA) and Exponential-Window (EW) is developed. The proposed receiver is evaluated in terms of

Continuous-Phase Modulation for DFT-Spread Localized OFDM
Massive machine-type communications to support a large number of low-cost, low-power, and/or low-rate radio-frequency transceivers such as Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices is a major usage scenario of the 5G mobile communication system.

Continuous Phase-Modulated Halftones [PDF]
A generalization of periodic clustered-dot halftones is proposed, wherein the phase of the halftone spots is modulated using a secondary signal. The process is accomplished by using an analytic halftone threshold function that allows halftones to be generated with controlled phase variation in different regions of the printed page.

Spectrally-Efficient Continuous Phase Modulations [PDF]
We investigate the spectral efficiency of continuous phase modulations (CPMs). To this end, we need an effective bandwidth definition for a CPM signal, whose power spectral density has in principle an infinite support. The definition we adopt is based on the spacing between adjacent carriers in a frequency division multiplexed CPM system.

Serially Concatenated Schemes for Single Sideband Continuous Phase Modulation
This paper investigates serially concatenated (SC) and interleaved transmission schemes for a new class of continuous phase modulation (CPM), which has the property being a single sideband (SSB). This new CPM is commonly called Single Side-Band Frequency

1.8 m/0.5 s Resolution Coherent Doppler Wind Lidar Using Continuous Phase Modulation
A high-spatial-resolution coherent Doppler wind lidar (CDWL) with high modulation efficiency is reported. The pseudo-random phase coding (PRPC) links the spatial resolution to the modulation rate but suffers from the non-rectangular transition caused by ...

Phase Noise Resilient Three-Level Continuous-Phase Modulation for DFT-Spread OFDM
In this paper, a novel waveform with low peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and high robustness against phase noise (PN) is presented. It follows the discrete Fourier transform spread orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM) signal model ...
