Phosphorylation of Chs2p regulates interaction with COPII [PDF]
Trafficking of the chitin synthase Chs2p from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to the bud-neck in late mitosis is tightly regulated by the cell cycle via phosphorylation of serine residues in the N-terminus of the protein. Here, we describe the effects of Chs2p phosphorylation on interaction with coat protein complex II (COPII).

Biogenesis of TNF‐α‐insights into proteostasis and inflammation
TNF‐α biogenesis, trafficking, and signalling are tightly and reciprocally coupled to cellular proteostasis systems, including ER chaperones and endoplasmic reticulum‐associated degradation. This bidirectional crosstalk determines whether TNF‐α responses are adaptive or proteotoxic.

SINDROMUL MÜNCHAUSEN PRIN TRANSFER – O PROBLEMĂ REALĂ PEDIATRICĂ? [PDF]

SIB1‐SEC23A undergo ER to chloroplast relocalization to mediate immunity in Arabidopsis thaliana
SEC23A mediates membrane trafficking between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and Golgi apparatus and interacts with the immunity protein SIGMA FACTOR‐BINDING PROTEIN1 in Arabidopsis. Under stress, both proteins relocate from the ER to chloroplasts, suppressing photosynthesis genes and enhancing defense genes.

A role for Yip1p in COPII vesicle biogenesis [PDF]
Yeast Ypt1p-interacting protein (Yip1p) belongs to a conserved family of transmembrane proteins that interact with Rab GTPases. We encountered Yip1p as a constituent of ER-derived transport vesicles, leading us to hypothesize a direct role for this protein in transport through the early secretory pathway.

ABSTRACT Rice has developed an efficient system for manganese (Mn) uptake, mediated by two distinct transporters, OsNramp5 and OsMTP9. These transporters exhibit polar localization at the root exodermis and endodermis; however, the mechanisms underlying their polar localization and their role in Mn uptake remain unclear.

Noncoding RNA Transcripts Based Molecular Phenotyping of MASLD and MASH Patients
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is a progressive hepatic metabolic disorder characterized by excessive fat accumulation in hepatocytes. MASLD can advance to metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatohepatitis (MASH).
