Gut Bacteria Improve Depressive Symptoms by Degrading Cortisol into Androgen
Gut microbiota may play a role in regulating the stress hormone cortisol. However, the mechanisms underlying the regulation of cortisol by gut microbiota are poorly understood.

Reevaluating the use of metanephrine in adrenal vein sampling: a single centre retrospective study
Optimal treatment of primary aldosteronism (PA) requires precise subtyping, usually performed by adrenal vein sampling (AVS) using cortisol to assess selectivity.

Unraveling the Molecular Mechanisms Underlying Spontaneous Multipolar Mitosis Through CIN‐seq
Multipolar mitosis, a hallmark of chromosomal instability (CIN), drives tumor heterogeneity but is challenging to study in live cells. Using CIN‐seq, a single‐cell multiomics method, we profiled rare CIN events and identified mechanisms associated with viable multipolar mitosis, including PTEN attenuation, Rho GTPase‐driven cytokinesis failure, and ...

This work develops dynamically softening polyacrylamide hydrogels for time‐resolved imaging during continuous mechanical transitions. The study revealed that mechanotransduction is biphasic; YAP/TAZ inactivation is driven by early loss of the nucleocytoskeletal continuum connecting subnuclear adhesions, F‐actin, and the nuclear envelope, coupled with ...

The management of patients with adrenocorticotropic hormone-independent Cushing’s syndrome and bilateral adrenal masses is challenging. Adrenal venous sampling (AVS) has been used to identify functional lesions in previous studies, but it is not always ...

A Nanoparticle‐Integrated Complete Manufacturing Pipeline of Chemically Engineered Exosomes
We report a novel manufacture technology of chemically engineered exosomes. The four steps of manufacturing, i.e., biogenesis, loading, isolation, and storage, are integrated by the use of a nanoparticle. The manufacture technology incorporates three innovative components, i.e., a new nano‐bio effect, a new composite nanoparticle, and a new isolation ...

A Method for Assessing Week-Long Cortisol Output Using a Continuously Worn Sweat Patch
Although sample matrices are available for assessing cortisol output over hours/days (serum, saliva, or urine) or months (hair or nails), there is no current method for measuring integrated cortisol output over a period of 1 week.

This study identifies GDF15+ TAMs as a cell subset mediating tumor regression after immunotherapy. Macrophage‐intrinsic GDF15 enhances phagocytosis and antigen cross‐presentation to CD8+ T cells through the NF‐κB signaling pathway, thereby inhibiting tumor progression.

Bone Organoids: A Novel Tool for Modeling and Managing Skeletal Disorders in Diabetes
This review synthesizes advances in bone organoid engineering and evaluates their potential to model diabetic bone fragility. Current in vitro and animal models do not fully recapitulate diabetes‐associated skeletal phenotypes. Cell‐based and scaffold‐based bone organoids are discussed as complementary approaches to reconstruct multicellular bone ...
