open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2012
Angular distributions of the 6Li + 18O elastic and inelastic scattering as well as the 6Li(18O, Х) reactions with production of 16,17,19O + 8,7,5Li, 14,15,16,17N + 10,9,8,7Be and 12,13,14C + 12,11,10B nuclei were measured at Elab(18O) = = 114 MeV.

The coupled dual boundary element-scaled boundary finite element method for efficient fracture mechanics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A novel numerical method is presented for applications to general fracture mechanics problems in engineering. The coupled dual boundary element-scaled boundary finite element method (DBE-SBFEM) incorporates the numerical accuracy of the SBFEM and the ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Elastic and inelastic scattering of 12C ions by 7Li at 115 MeV [PDF]

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2013
Angular distributions of the 7Li + 12C elastic and inelastic scattering as well as the 7Li(14N, Х) reactions with exited stable and unstable nuclei with Z = 3 6 were measured at Elab(12C) = 115 MeV.

Elastic and inelastic scattering of 10B ions by 6Li nuclei at energy 51 MeV

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2020
New experimental data of angular distributions for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 10B ions by 6Li nuclei were obtained at the energy Elab(10B) = 51 MeV for the ground and excited 2.18 – 5.7 MeV states of 6Li and 0.7 – 6.56 MeV states of 10В ...

Non-equilibrium stochastic dynamics of open ion channels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We present and discuss a modified version of reaction rate theory (RRT) to describe the passage of a positive ion through a biological ion channel. It takes explicit account of the non-equilibrium nature of the permeation process. Unlike traditional RRT,

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Elastic and inelastic scattering of the 14C + 18O nuclei [PDF]

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2010
New angular-distribution data of 14С + 18О elastic and inelastic scattering at the energy Elab(18O) = 105 MeV were obtained firstly. The data were analysed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels methods including contributions from most ...

Simultaneous analysis of elastic, breakup, and fusion channels for 6He induced reactions at energies near the Coulomb barrier

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2011
We present some recent applications of the Continuum-Discretized Coupled-Channels (CDCC) and Coupled-Reaction-Channels (CRC) methods to the study of reactions induced by weakly-bound nuclei on stable targets. The methods are applied to the scattering of

On Discontinuous Galerkin Methods for Singularly Perturbed and Incompressible Miscible Displacement Problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis is concerned with the numerical approximation of problems of fluid flow, in particular the stationary advection diffusion reaction equations and the time dependent, coupled equations of incompressible miscible displacement in a porous medium.
