Genetic and phenotypic parameters for growth traits of Abergelle goats were estimated using 6 years of data from community‐based breeding programme in scale‐up villages. Growth traits showed positive genetic and phenotypic correlations, with moderate to high heritability, indicating strong potential for genetic improvement through selection.
