Stable radicals are attractive for photonic and quantum information technologies but are often limited by instability. We stabilize intrinsic radicals in graphene quantum dots via 2D polymerization of perylene derivatives, where bilayer defect confinement suppresses quenching (100–500 K).

A novel strategy for achieving high current density in van der Waals (vdW) heterostructure‐based light‐emitting devices (LEDs) is proposed. Based on this concept, an LED utilizing a WS2/WSe2 heterostructure was fabricated, achieving a current density of 9.4 × 104 A/cm2.

Iterative Synthesis of Pyrene–Coronene Molecular Graphene Nanoribbons
An iterative approach delivers a new family of undoped, cove‐edged graphene nanoribbons with lengths up to 9.1 nm that exhibit both molar absorptivity and fluorescence brightness values on the order of 105 M−1 cm−1 and an intrinsic charge‐carrier mobility of 475 ± 32 cm2 V−1 s−1.
