Taurine and Metabolic Diseases: Molecular Mechanisms and Therapeutic Implications
The dietary sources of taurine, as well as its protective effects and mechanisms in metabolism‐related diseases and metabolic disorder–associated ocular and cerebral injuries. ABSTRACT Taurine (Tau) is a sulfur‐containing amino acid prevalent in animal tissues and primarily acquired through dietary sources.

ABSTRACT Period circadian regulator 1 (PER1) regulates circadian gene expression and is critical for spatial memory. However, its role in regulating synaptic plasticity between diurnal phases remains largely unknown. Here, we examined long‐term potentiation (LTP) and long‐term synaptic depression (LTD) in hippocampal slices prepared from aged male Per1

ABSTRACT Accumulating evidence suggests that paternal environmental factors have epigenetic effects on sperm and influence offspring. Neonicotinoid pesticides (NNs), which are widely used around the world, are known to affect offspring phenotypes through maternal exposure in mice, but the effect of the paternal exposure remains unknown.

The in‐silico data showed that fisetin binds stably with the autophagy receptors and synaptic density regulators. Further, in‐vitro data confirmed the restoration of Aβ1‐42 disrupted autophagy by fisetin. Fisetin restored the oxidative stress and ion channels, along with a reduction of AChE activity.

Suppression of BDNF‐TrkB signaling has shown a protective trend on hepatic oxidative stress by reducing sucrose‐induced lipid peroxidation. BDNF–TrkB signaling pathway plays a peripheral role in regulating mitochondrial enzyme capacity and redox balance in the liver.
