Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Effect of temperature on aging and time-temperature superposition in nonergodic Laponite suspensions

open access: yes, 2009
We have studied the effect of temperature on aging dynamics of laponite suspensions by carrying out the rheological oscillatory and creep experiments.

Application of time–stress superposition to viscoelastic behavior of polyamide 6,6 fiber and its “true” elastic modulus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The viscoelastic behavior of semi-crystalline polyamide 6,6 fiber is exploited in viscoelastically prestressed polymeric matrix composites. To understand better the underlying prestress mechanisms, strain–time performance of the fiber material is ...

Study on the Creep Behaviors of Interactive Marine-Terrestrial Deposit Soils

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering, 2019
The interactive marine-terrestrial (IMT) deposit soils were formed in the complex depositional environment; their mechanical properties are different from the other deposits.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Procedures for characterizing an alloy and predicting cyclic life with the total strain version of Strainrange Partitioning [PDF]

open access: yes
Procedures are presented for characterizing an alloy and predicting cyclic life for isothermal and thermomechanical fatigue conditions by using the total strain version of strainrange partitioning (TS-SRP). Numerical examples are given.

Becker and Lomnitz rheological models: a comparison

open access: yes, 2012
The viscoelastic material functions for the Becker and the Lomnitz rheological models, sometimes employed to describe the transient flow of rocks, are studied and compared.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.
