A Review of Creep Deformation and Rupture Mechanisms of Cr-Mo Alloy for the Development of Creep Damage Constitutive Equations under Lower Stress

open access: yes, 2013
This paper presents a review of creep deformation and rupture mechanisms of low Cr-Mo alloy for the development of its creep damage constitutive equations under lower stress.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

The role of uncertainty in creep mechanics

open access: yes, 2013
The development of constitutive models for the analysis of the creep (and fatigue) of structures at high temperature has a long history. Nevertheless, with a few exceptions, it is common in engineering practice to use relatively simple models, typically ...

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

A creep model for ultra-deep salt rock considering thermal-mechanical damage under triaxial stress conditions

open access: yesJournal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering
To investigate the specific creep behavior of ultra-deep buried salt during oil and gas exploitation, a set of triaxial creep experiments was conducted at elevated temperatures with constant axial pressure and unloading confining pressure conditions ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Creep behavior of a 10% Cr heat-resistant martensitic steel with low nitrogen and high boron contents at 650 °C [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The purpose of this study is to identify the relationships between the creep behavior of the 10% Cr martensitic steel with 0.008% B and 0.003% N and changes in microstructure and precipitations of secondary phases.
